ATC-Lit

Do any of you struggle with using certain things in your crafting?  Maybe you're working on tieing that perfect ribbon.  Perhaps you have a stamp or stamp set that you're still trying out in different ways.  Or maybe you hoard some supply, like patterned paper, waiting for the perfect project that seems to never come.

For me, it's animals.  Despite having some images in my arsenal, I still struggle to use the images in my creations.  I like certain styles, funky, weird, creepy; I'm not one for the cutesy images.  Absolutely nothing wrong with other styles, just not my cup of tea.

I'm entering my ATC into the following challenge:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

The background is from the long forgotten patterned paper project.  I added some red paint through a Dylusions stencil.  I added some punchinella, embroidery floss, and a button from my stash.  I glued all my layers together after I stamped, colored, and cut out my polar bear.  Letter stickers gave me my title, and a Sharpie pen for the doodles.

ATC Joy

Hi everyone!  I'm sure at least some of you are in full holiday mode.  I know I am.  Busy, busy, busy, but I'm still making time for crafting.  I'm trying a new format, so please feel free to comment and let me know what you think!

I'm entering my ATC into the following challenge:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

So this is from a long forgotten project of mine.  I attached a couple different pieces of old Amy Tangerine patterned paper to cardstock, then played around a bit.  I discovered it recently and cut the 12x12 paper into a bunch of ATCs.  For this one I added some stamping and paint through a stencil in the background.  My stamping was done with Ranger Archival Ink and green dye ink.  I mixed mint and Titanium White and put it through a stencil.  I colored a wreath from Oddball Art with my Tombow and Artist's Loft markers and cut the frame with some patterned paper and a wonky frame die.  The letters are from my stash.

A discovery

Ever been playing around with something and weren't quite done with it as is?  You plan what you can do with a and then it sits?

That happened to me.

I rediscovered some patterned paper that I played with and then didn't used for some reason.  I'll explain tomorrow, but there are some peeks at what I did.  Enjoy!

Holiday Tag

Good evening friends!  when it comes to die-cut dies, I feel like I do not have enough.  At least not enough of a variety.  There's cetain types som people may love.  Some people love alphabet dies, some may like occasion dies (like birthday, wedding, new baby).  I have some nice ones for sure, but I need a few more to fit other occasions or that can be used for different things.  Like a tree die, or a cat cit.  Can be applied to several different ideas, right?

So I'm still working on getting a few more holiday projects with my supplies.  And a new challenge that asked to use a die.  So I made it work.

I'm also entering my tag into the following challenge:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

My tag started out with a bunch of paint, stenciling, and stamps over it already.  So I added part of a Dylusions girl colored with Christmas colors, a cork star from my stash, and I used a long star banner die-cut that I used with an older gelli print as well another gelli print I used with an alphabet die.  Kaisercraft has lots of offerings.  One option is this sentiment die "so happy."  I also used a die similar to this Tim Holtz alphabet die set to cut out my letters for SMILE.  And I added a bunch of baker's twine matching the colors in the tag.

Please let me know what you think in the comments!  Thank you for stopping by!
